Business Identity Match
Business name, address, phone, and website are cross-checked against official business registries so the company you hire is the company you found.
Ownership Research
We trace who actually owns the business — including corporate parents and investment or private-equity backing — so homeowners know who stands behind the work.
Claim Corroboration
Marketing claims like years in business, certifications, and awards are compared against independent sources such as the BBB. Anything we cannot confirm is marked “Unable to Verify” — never guessed.
Human Review
AI does the heavy research; a Presto team member makes the final call. No contractor is approved by an algorithm alone.

Once approved, confirmed details appear on the public profile marked “Presto Verified,” clearly separated from information the contractor provided themselves.
